Project Overview
Black Fashion Week (#BFWmn), founded by Natalie Morrow, is a catalyst for social change dedicated to showcasing the talents of BIPOC creatives in the fashion industry. The organization celebrates underrepresented voices and seeks to expand nationwide to amplify its impact. For this project, I led design efforts for the brand identity, event activation, and concept development—creating a cohesive and visually compelling experience across physical and digital platforms.
Challenge
Develop a unifying brand and event experience that elevates BIPOC fashion talent, engages attendees both in-person and online, and reflects the mission of social impact and representation.
Process
Crafted a bold, inclusive brand identity that conveyed empowerment and creativity.
Designed event collateral, signage, and digital assets to unify the visual language across platforms.
Collaborated with stakeholders, performers, and sponsors to ensure brand consistency and maximize audience engagement.
Outcome
The project successfully amplified BIPOC voices in fashion, delivering a culturally relevant and visually striking event. The integrated brand identity and activation materials strengthened #BFWmn’s presence as a key platform for representation, paving the way for future expansion.
